In April, 2019, PHAR participated with the Charlottesville Low-Income Housing Coalition (CLIHC) to show support for residents of the Belmont Apartments. They were at risk of homelessness and displacement after their landlord, Drew Holzwarth, told residents to leave. Many of the residents at 1000 Monticello Road (no longer called Belmont Apartments!) were elderly and/or have significant disabilities. Thank you to the many residents and concerned neighbors who participated in the march and rally!
